Mainly Dry At First, Showers Later. Warm.

Thursday
Mainly dry conditions should prevail across most areas through the course of Thursday, but especially across many northern and western areas of the UK where bright or sunny spells are forecast. Locally heavy showers or thunderstorms may develop across southern counties of England during the afternoon. Warm or very warm. Highs 16C to 23C.
 


Thursday Night
Localised heavy and perhaps thundery showers across more southern counties of England fading away and then many areas having a dry night on Thursday night with clear spells and variable cloud. Some local mist and fog patches possible, especially where any daytime showers have been. Cool north, mild south. Lows 7C to 14C.
 


Friday
Into Friday and plenty of dry weather will prevail across much of the UK but again particularly acros northern areas, so northern England, Scotland and Ireland where there will be spells of sunshine as well, despite some cloud. Pressure will be lower across more central and southern areas of England and Wales and with perhaps a greater risk of some heavy and thundery showers developing here during the day. Winds light and variable and still warm or regionally very warm. Highs 16C to 23C.


Saturday
Into Saturday and a day of sunshine and showers are forecast across most areas. The showers potentially heavy and thundery as the day progress, perhaps particularly across more inland areas of England and Wales, while Scotland and N Ireland may still remain predominantly dry and bright, if not sunny. There will still be some drier and sunnier intervals in-between the showers and many areas still warm. Highs 16C to 21C.
